Off-roading in Wadi Rum

Hey Oppo. I was treated to an off-roading experience in the Wadi Rum desert of Jordan about two weeks ago.

I wasn’t driving, just riding along in the beds of old pickup trucks and taking in the scenery.

The trucks attempted to race each other, but the engine of the tiny Nissan couldn’t take it.

We drove for a while to meet some camels, then rode the camels through the Lawrence Gorge to meet the trucks again, then took the trucks over to the sand dunes.

My rides were the blue & silver Mitsubishi, and the white camel (I named him George). Should I do a Regular Camel Review?

The whole reason for this trip was to see Petra. Everything else (Tel-Aviv, Jerusalem, Dead Sea, Jerash, etc) was icing on the cake.

I don’t know why my camera started adding the stamps, I can’t get them off and windows photo editor doesn’t remove them anymore

Absolutely stunning - FYI I just visited Jordan, Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead sea in mid April. I really enjoyed the Wadi Rum overnight experience and Petra hiking.
