The Fiesta ST has been in the shop for the last 2 days and will remain there over the weekend as it gets some upgrades, maintenance and warranty work done. Too bad, because this weekend is so pretty and I am stuck with a Fusion. Also, the Fusion doesn’t really fit in my carport very well.

One thing I do like about the Fusion is that as a 2018, it has Android Auto. I’ve not driven a vehicle with AA yet and I really, really like it. I can’t wait until the Mazda gets it later this year.

I should be doing car work, but someone mentioned wanting to go to a cider house and I couldn’t turn that down. But tomorrow for sure!

I know that they get parted out a lot on forums and stuff. You could probably pick some up if you wanted them really badly.

I would imagine it is just plug and play in terms of connections.

Meh, I’d rather not drive it. It’s an SE AWD Ecoboost, not really a fun car. Also, it’s filthy and I like my cars pristine.

I’m not about to clean the dealers loaner for a few hours though.

I’m not about to clean the dealers loaner for a few hours though.

They’re the best. They’ve never been cleaned properly in their lives and doubtless will ever be again.

We had a rental for two or three days, only used her once for work and once for shopping in that time, still gave her a good proper clean. Took off some scratches, removed some overspray from a quick repair.

I had to, this was her daily life. ((shudder))

Dirty soapy water, a long armed brush that has probably seen the ground more time than a drunk falling over, then pressure rinsed off.

Don’t get me wrong, I love cleaning. I mostly don’t want to a) waste my supplies and b) waste water as we enter water ban season

I’m sure they are, but I’m not sure it’s worth the effort. I’d need to find a full set front and rear. Then, if I did that, I’d get obsessed and want to get an RHD driver’s seat. Basically, it’s a slippery slope.

If I could have ordered it with the seats, though...

I also want the European center console, which is more likely for me to do (but I’d still want the electric passenger seat).

The slidly lid is cool for sure. The Euro mod I’d do is the lights. I know people have done it, but messing with the electrics.. I dunno.

For me a dirty car is a dirty car. I need to make it no longer a dirty car. Lol.

Any ‘hosepipe bans’ are usually down in the south or south east England if the summer is too hot for an extended period of time.

I think the ST3 lights on the Focus are great, although I also want a set of Euro tails for mine. I really need to land a set from an RS owner that got aftermarkets...

I am currently tuneless, awaiting warranty work. I need to do the rear brakes, but I just don’t want to at the moment. On a positive note, my tune just got updated!
