Mazda used to have some pretty neat one off colors. That green they did on the 2 was cool. I really liked the metallic mustard that was available on the 3 for a year or two. Didn’t they do a bright magenta on the 2 for a while too? The “Soul” red they have been putting on everything is nice too - just a little more mainstream.

If it makes you feel better, we never got the revised Mazda2 which I think looks pretty cool.

They did have some neat colours.
The best colour palette I’ve seen on a (somewhat) mainstream car is the Golf R, at least from what’s shown on the VW Canada website: 10 shades of blue (11 if you include the Lapiz Blue which is no additional charge), 3 browns, 5 greens, 3 oranges, 3 purples, 4 reds (5 if you include the Tornado Red at no charge) and 2 yellows.
I really wish that colour palettes for mainstream cars were larger.

No idea, I’ve seen at least 2 so I can assume they’ve at least sold that many.

A colleague had one in the same colour as that here in the U.K. back in early 2016.
It was a lease. She was paying £239 a month. I was shocked, she said she got such a good price because her husband worked for a Mazda partner company.
I said, ‘No Linda, that’s a crap price, you can get a Fiesta of a higher spec for less than £200 a month’.
Thankfully she was coming to the end of her lease and rather than buy it out or get a new car and keep the lease going She handed it back and bought a Kia Rio 1.25 and loves the thing.
The lease price was so high at the time as the things depreciated like a rock.
Okay looking car I guess, really liked the colour but really not worth 20% more money for a lease over a Fiesta, even with an employee discount.

Yea it shouldn’t be more expensive than the others. Also hard to argue against the Kia’s interior and warranty.

I generally find the higher the depreciation of the car, the higher the lease is.
