There is probably a host of reasons why buying this car would be a bad idea, but I really like the car. And the Momo steering wheel and shift knob add at least 40 hp... Do you suppose he saved the stock parts?

I assumed it had many problems.

I hope he saved the stock parts. I think those are ugly.

Owning a Delta Integrale would be neat but $33k seems a bit much. Then again, I know nothing about the value of the these cars.

Gorgeous car! Would be a hell of a lot of fun, I’m sure. Repairs and maintenance might be slightly less fun, haha.

Seems like a lot to me, too.

Only 60k miles on a 26-year-old car. Was it a garage queen?
![]() 05/09/2018 at 16:41 |

Yes, a car difficult not to want.

The odometer suggests that it was, for at least part of its life. Fairly recent import from Japan— I don’t see a date but it must have been in the last year in order to be legal.

I’d just buy a Chevette and spend $500 at Maaco and some badging.

I’d daily the ever loving shit out of that.

I wanna say the Momo parts are a factory/dealer package on those cars.

One time i owned a 1988 Celica All-trac.
It was a lot of fun, but so complicated, old and turbocharged that there was always something going wrong with the car or about to go wrong with the car.
This is basically the same thing only instead of being a Toyota it’s a Lancia.

Until it broke down...

Maybe. The BaT listing says the owner “upgraded” with those parts.

That is pretty much what I would expect.

Lol yeah, but that was a Toyota and this is a Lancia.
I fucking love the integrale, but i’d run far far away before buying one.

Yeah, it’s odd, but I’ve seen a few LHD cars from Japan on BAT. They’re always European cars. Mostly BMWS.

These are so glorious but for $33k you could have a brand new focus RS. I dunno, I get the love of something like this but I also know that driving is what I love about cars and I get the sense that this is the type of car that you drive and then fix and repeat. In this age and price range I’d probably be looking more towards an E30 M3.

May I inquire as to your age? I’ll be 54 this summer. Much of what informs my interest in, and taste for, automobiles, is having maintained my own for 35 years. Even when I do the work myself, there’s always money involved and mooching information from folks more knowledgeable. If I had $33k to spend on a car, I’d buy something $10-15k and use the balance to buy tires and parts.
