Are getting too good to ignore.

Kinja'd!!!

Ford has added an additional $2,000 private cash incentive on top of the $3,000 cash back. That’s $5k off before trade-in... If I could get $2k positive for the FR-Slow on trade-in, plus my X-Plan pricing, that’d mean a brand new ‘17 FiST for $14,916 before delivery and TTL or $17,602 before delivery and TTL for one with Recaros and a moonroof.

Hmmm....

Yeah, the FoST deals also almost draw me away from the Abarth. Man, good prices.

At my local ford dealer the Fist costs 23k while the Fost is 20k, I don’t get it. The Fist is awesome but a much smaller car.

It’s because the FiST is the better driver’s car. The FoST may be faster in a straight line, more utilitarian, and -depending on who you believe- have higher handling limits, but you toss both of them down a windy back road and you’ll end up wanting to do it again (and again, and again) in the FiST. Also, they may have overestimated demand for the FoST and built too many...

FoST is also a consideration, if I could find an even better deal on one. Simply because I’d be replacing the FR-S for the sake of a better daily.

I’m looking to get out of a B-seg hatch and into a version of the 86?

Are you moving on from the FR-S? why if I may ask?

I would be, if I chose to get a FiST.

The only reason I’d really be moving out of the FR-S is to get into something that’d make a more practical daily driver. The reason I’m considering doing it now is simply because of how cheap I can get a brand new FiST for. We will see though. Just a little over a year left to pay off the FR-S, so it’d be smarter to just stick with it and have no car payment.
