Yeah, it covers the brake light. But I’ll be leaving these boots on the job site now.

I have a lot to to today after work. Going to check out a set of tires for equinox, 18’s

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

$300 and allegedly only 3,000 miles on them.

Then change all brake pads on the van as they are starting to grind.

Went to the Jeep club meeting last night then Vintage Bike night at local brewery. Neat bikes everywhere.

Need to clear out garage and get XJ drivable for EJS & jeep club functions, now that the kids (5&7) are out of baby car seats and can handle the jostling around of wheeling.

Does your state have all bikes expire same month like MO?

I figure that’s to get them inspected before riding season.

No, it’s just a year after you renew them. No inspections or emissions testing for bikes in AZ.

That’ll work :)

I’ve got my $100 Elite 80 running and riding now. The plate expired in 2009, but coincidentally it’s the same color as the current stickers, so ....

Yes, you definitely need to get that XJ running!

Oh, Indy???

I haven’t gotten my truck inspected yet. Registered, yeah, but I don’t display the stickers anyway because I run vintage plates. A friend actually said, “you know, the cops really don’t mess with cool old stuff very much. I’d scrape the [expired] inspection sticker off and just forget about it.” It’s a 2-year inspection for antiques and in 3 years, it’s exempt from inspections completely. So the logic is, if there’s no sticker, a cop would have to look at it and say, “geez I think that’s a ‘61, so let’s see... Saf-C 3224.01(c) says 60 years... YUP it needs a sticker I better pull him over!!”

More likely, they’ll just look at it, see no sticker, and think “eh, probably old enough” and keep going. They all wave to me anyway! I’m leaning heavily toward that option.

We have a guy at work who rides his bike about 40% of the time. Tags have been expired since like... 2013? It is kinda impressive.

I did look at those tires and they are bbrand new 18". I agreed to the $300 because that’s a fair price.

So..... Going to Indy is out. Although my bvrother in law went today or yesterday after work... He not a race fan just seeing sights while out of town.

Aso I came across this you may like.
