Im super excited for the Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV! I’m curious about the kind of ride quality Royce can introduce into the SUV market, especially offroad. I also think SUVs fit the brand far better now and the new Phantom proves it. Nothing about that car wows me because my expectations for a sedan are far higher than that of an SUV. And that, my friends, is why cars cant make a profit any more. Expectations are too damn high!
But tell me, are there any new cars that you’re excited for and any that you are disappointed about?

I’m excited about the Brabham BT62. The new M5 competition pack just doesn’t appeal to me. Like, yeah we get it. You can build a fast sedan. Now get back to building cars that are fun to drive instead of just fast

Excited for this
And this
And I have a feeling they won’t disappoint
Extremely disappointed with this, despite all the improvements
Also this. I am already setting myself up for disappointment because I have a gut-feeling VW will fuck it up with mediocre performance for an exorbitant price.

Skoda Superb PHEV.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
The Skoda Superb plug-in hybrid will be sold as a powertrain instead of a trim level, Auto Express has learned, giving customers a number of price options depending on how much equipment they want along with electrified motoring.
The Czech brand revealed initial specs for the Superb PHEV recently; it’ll have similar power and torque figures to those of the VW Passat GTE, which sells as a only a couple of trim levels. But Skoda will aim to offer its plug-in hatchback as an engine type instead of a restricted number of versions, potentially allowing customers after an SE-spec Superb to choose electrification as easily as a turbocharged petrol or turbodiesel.
Skoda’s global sales and marketing boss Alain Favey told Auto Express, “It will be one powertrain, the hybrid, and it will be offered on different trims. Of course, electrified vehicles have a slightly higher price point, but we want to make it as accessible as possible so we think it’s good to offer this variation.”
When it arrives on the market next year the Skoda Superb PHEV will be front-wheel drive and capable of more than 40 miles of pure-electric .
Initial technical details released by senior Skoda management show that the car - the Czech manufacturer’s first plug-in vehicle - will mix a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 154bhp with an 85kW (114bhp) electric motor integrated into the car’s DSG dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The total combined system output of the two motors will be 215bhp.
Disappointed.
It’s an auto.

Excited for:
They didn’t kill it! Nor t=did they slap the Jimny name on some generic 5 door crossover! The 3 Door SUV is safe for at least a few more years! I’m kinda disappointed they went with the retro styling, Jeep-copy route, but I’m too happy to care.
Ironically enough, my biggest disappointment is shaping up to be the new Defender, which keeps the 90 3 door version. (I’m still damn ecstatic that another 3 Door SUV is safe.) I could rant about this all day, but from the rumours I’ve heard, It’s going the be “the most high-tech Land Rover yet.”
Please be wrong.

Excited for:
The new A-Class, specifically the hatch. Because Canada’s finally getting the proper A after years of having only cars like the B, the CLA, and of course the GLA. And that interior is absolutely fantastic.
Disappointed in:
The Regal TourX. Because for some reason Buick hates money and won’t sell it in Canada.
