But wouldn’t be the same without Malford Milligan singing it - he might be the best singer around whose name you might not know. Guitar work isn’t bad, either...

Can’t agree more. I grew up in Austin (technically Round Rock) when they started and was in College Station when they toured. I drug anyone that I could to a show any time they came through, and even managed to catch them at Antone’s at least once (memory back that far is fuzzy, might have been twice). Great band while they were around, and great live show. Bitter Rain might be my favorite though. Still listen to that album straight through every once in a while.

I never saw them, and and it’s too bad that they weren’t together longer. What little time they had was brilliant.
