I didn’t get anywhere. It’s actually onto the rear door too, I didn’t realize that at first. It’s not nearly as deep on the doors as it is on the fender. I either need to borrow my friends polisher, or suck it up and pay the deductible to have a shop do it. Or just leave it, since it’s certainly not the only paint damage on this thing.
It was too hot for a proper wash, which it hasn’t had since before winter, and even that could barely be called proper. It’s looking alright from 10 feet now, maybe 15...

Either a random act of assholery, or someone really doesn’t want cars parked in front of a certain house on my block. Two cars had their mirrors ripped off in front of the same house I was parked at when it got keyed, including the car of the owner of that house...

Looks pretty good, does your nail catch on it? Hard to tell on a white car if it’s through the paint but it’s a Subaru so I’m going to say yes.
May not be able to correct it with a polisher if it’s that deep. But it’s worth a shot.

Judging by the general dipshittery of the lower mainland, I’d definitely have a hard-wired discreet dashcam in my car if I was there - even here in Vancouver junior, I like the peace of mind.

Yeah, I’ll definitely be replacing my current dashcam at some point with one that has a parking mode.
