Picked up this 2017 sweetheart with only 4900 miles on her. Took her straight out to get painted... today she’s home after the first crazy fun drive through the foothills. Total blast. I have named her: Yoshimoto

Love the color! In this light it looks almost exactly like the 3M gloss liquid copper wrap I just used on my build. Could be an option if say you wanted to wrap unpaintable parts (say in th interior) to match.

Today I was an obnoxious tailgater...... Get outa my way!!! Must take hairpin turns faster. I sorta of want to get up super early to beat the slow pokes to the fun roads... The only thing with heading out to the foothills early is the amount of bicyclists up in the morning as well. Of course since there shouldn’t be much car traffic it shouldn’t be too much of an issue.

That’s a beautiful orange, is the same as Mazda’s metallic orange from several years ago?

Lookout is what I did last night -after the cyclists were all going down I was going up...I live in Highlands so it’s pretty much a straight shot up 32nd, jog through golden and climb. So many adventures to come!

Mt Evans is one of my favs, coal/clear/deer creek canyons are all fun too, after lookout I liked to come back down the backside on 40, it’s fast sweeping curves instead of the hairpins going up and you also have the Cabrini shrine if you want a little taste of gravel. And if you have a few hours Loveland pass is incredible, and definitely do Rocky Mountain national park, we went at night once and didn’t even have to pay and it was absolutely incredible stargazing, just look out for moose lol there was one in the road and it’s terrifying in a Miata with the top down. And then you can come back through Estes Park into boulder from there. I moved back to Chicago last year and miss it so much, so I’m projecting all my favorite adventures lol. Never got to do the million dollar highway, that’s a full day trip and couldn’t get the wife onboard after she saw pics online.
