they fall into a harder spectrum of alternative/punk. Similar bands like New Found Glory, Blink 182, Offspring, etc. I love jamming to them, but I wouldn’t label them metal

They change their sound a lot. All Killer, No Filler was pop-punk with a throwback to 80s metal at the end, Does This Look Infected? was harder punk, Chuck was pretty much alt. metal, Underclass Hero went back to pop punk, and Screaming Bloody Murder was back to alt. metal. Haven’t listened to 13 Voices yet.

thats what i always considered them to be....

but some of their guitar riffs are very much metal
