Bored and have tons of 3M carbon fiber vinyl left. So, suppose I had to do the first Mirage rice mod. Actually breaks up nice on the orange if I do say so myself.

Thanks! I’m actually not real great with this stuff. When I do fuel doors I tend to waste quite a bit because of how I do it. I’m pleased with this result.

What 3M vinyl? It’s quite popular. Killer for interior trims. I have a ton of it and felt like being a ricer hah.

Wanted some contrast to break up all the orange.

Not really my thing, but it looks good! Very cleanly done. I still quite like those little Mitsus, even if they are terribad...can’t be any worse than my Hyundai in the ‘cheap plastics and lack of features’ department! :)

It’s a good little car. Mine is actually loaded and has decent features.

Apple car play and all :) not too bad for a cheap ride.

I’m going to assume it was originally for racers to more easily see the fueling point on more stock style cars. I don’t really have a clue though.

I’ll clarify. When I say “loaded” I mean for this model range. I’m even fortunate enough to have the Mitsubishi “FAST” key system and fogs hah

And auto climate control (which I don’t like anyway) and Apple Carplay :P!

A lot of which is standard at this point, but my car is rocking a stick with no keyless, no power anything, no ABS, A/C, Cruise or Traction Control and a single-DIN CD player with Aux. Input. :P

So.....even your non-feature features are more feature-y than mine. :D

I dig that your car is a stick. Mine is CVT lol.

The Apple car play is my favorite. It truly makes up for the lack of other equipment. Lane departure warning and blind spot monitoring is useless and I don’t need it. I drive for a living so I’ve got it down to a science hehe.

Features I’d like include HID headlights which were optional. I’ll be doing the retrofit.

Also I’m upgrading the audio system because it’s weaker than the engine output bahaha

She’s my daily driver behind some DSMs. I bought it because it’s hilariously cheap to operate, and because they’re not extremely common. Plus it’s unique and quirky. Figured it would be fun to document my ownership and write random stuff about it.

Haha! My brother and mom have Accents (albeit sedans whereas mine is a hatchback) of the same generation as mine. Theirs are both autos....driving their cars with the exact same engine as mine and then driving mine leaves me with a night-and-day difference! I’ve never measured or anything, but the stick just feels so much faster and peppier using my patented butt dyno.

I’m contemplating picking up the factory front bumper insert and fog lights to retrofit into my car as it never came with them. I had fogs on my old 2002 Impreza wagon and I really miss them in inclement weather!
