They’re pretty quick about getting my money, but not so quick about having me see a doctor. I understand triage and realize that my case isn’t a terribly high priority, but I’d love to get this needle out of my arm and get something to drink. At least the recliner is comfortable and the WiFi speedy, but I’m below 50% battery and need to be careful with phone usage lest I run out of power. Brightness down, no video - I should be OK as long as I’m not here overnight...

I think it does, and usually kicks in around 20%, but I guess I could fire it up manually. I did drain the 60% reserve battery built into the Mophie case, but I guess that isn’t surprising since I’ve been up since 0300.

Just saw the doctor and it’ll be the usual antibiotic cocktail and some pain killers. It’s not bad enough to warrant a hospital stay and IV drugs, probably because I’ve been through this so many times and know the symptoms and how to treat it. But sometimes I need that little extra help that only pharmaceuticals can provide...

last time i was i the er (for a sick kid) a nurse happily pulled me a charger from the lost and found box to borrow. might be worth an ask

Power save did the trick, but I’ll remember your tip for next time. Thankfully I’ve got a Mophie case on the phone, so in addition to the extra battery life that gives, it also changes the port from Lightning to micro USB making it easier to get a charge.
