I’m Not Smart Sometimes

We have some yuck weather coming in. So what do I do? A full detail on the Shitsubishi of course!

Started with some Chemical Guys waterless wash, and got her sparkling. I followed with some Chemical Guys X-Seal sealant with carnuba. After a thick coating of said wax, some Griot’s Garage Speed Shine added the gloss and removed any residual wax.

Feeling motivated and sweaty, I proceeded to vacuum the interior and apply some protectant. Afterwards, the engine bay got some attention too. Here’s what we came out with. The color absolutely pops now.

She looks fantastic.

Even if the weather does turn to shite, she’ll be easier to clean and should only need a shampoo and dry or merely hit with a pressure washer and driven.

Steal away :) it’s the nickname I gave to her the first day I took her home. It’s actually been a phenomenal car for me.

I’m the same way. If I talk up my DSM while it’s around it’ll definitely make me pay for it haha

Thanks so much! I’m actually impressed with how well she cleans up. That was my idea with the wax. Protect the paint from this sun and make it far easier to clean.

I like that name. We used to call a friend’s Diamante “Mitsubishitty”, but I think I like yours better.

Loving the insane gas mileage, and the super ease of parking. I’m someone that tends to drive 80s/90s cars, so enjoying a quiet car with air conditioning and navigation is a nice change.

Did I mention I can park this car anywhere? And that I never stress because Carmax warranty? And that it is a cool looking car?

Best $12,000 ever haha.
