BMW pros, I need your help.

I’m at a loss here. The internet says I can replace my CCV without pulling the intake manifold, but every instruction thread I find is so old that the pictures are dead. I need to get around this wiring harness box thing but is has a million wires snaking through the block to every sensor on the engine. I can’t possibly disconnect them all and get it put back together afterwards. Is there anything I can loosen or remove to help get it out of the way?

That has pics though it says you do have to do the intake

I’ve been told you can do it with the intake in place. But I’ve never been able to manage that myself and felt removing the intake was easy enough that it’s not worth the hassle of fighting it.

I finally got it out. Had to dislocate a few fingers to do so but it’s done. Ran out of light though so the new one goes in tomorrow.

I just didn’t want to do the intake because I don’t have a torque wrench.
