Beautiful Fuselage
Why did you bother debadging it???
ORLG Bait - from this morning, through a dirty windshield
ML63 - because reasons
Was trying to be sneaky, but apparently a Brabus G63 (or at least it has Brabus wheels)
SL65 - brand new and currently offered at a $75k discount from MSRP (really)
SLS - these next few were all taken at the same hotel parking lot over the course of a few days.
The roofline on this Rolls is weird to me.
S63 Coupe
Photobombed by a Rolls
Owner of this car works a few buildings down from me, and apparently also takes the Tri-State to work. This shape is so pretty...

Is it bad that I am most interested in the Saab...?

Not in this case.

No, not at all. It’s the prettiest car in the post.

Fuselage coupes amuse me, trunk and hood appear to be the same length (about 20 feet).

The whole effect is to make the greenhouse look tiny:

These ones really do it:

Mmmmm - the photo I posted was of a bone stock car and it looks a little gawky - riding too high on tiny tires.
Lowered, on meatier tires like that is much better. For full effect, you’d want one with hidden headlights and full-width taillights:

The Plymouth would have also been an acceptable answer here. Those are the two best looking of the group.

Honestly, most Saabs I see do nothing for me, but the lines of this one, especially around the C-pillar, work well.

The Plymouth is a no brainer because green, if for no other reason.

And that loop bumper, what a unique aesthetic:
When I was a kid, and these were just old unloved cars, I didn’t care for the fuselage style, but now I see it. Before I was born, my grandpa bought a fuselage Newport 4 door HT, green with a green top and green interior. He traded in a red 65 Newport for it.

Yeah same for me — but now I think it looks fantastic. And that front bumper is wild.

It’s rare to see one in the States as well - I just see that particular car regularly.
A shame, because I think it’s a beautiful sedan. Typical GM, get the product right just before canceling it...
