Today brought me yet another dog hair covered car interior with filthy seat bases from dog feet and children spilling food and drink in the vehicle.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Exterior was pretty clean bar a little brake dust.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Had the car for just over two hours and one hour 40 minutes was spent vacuuming dog hairs and anti bacterial cleaning the seat bases.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Exterior and wheels were very quickly pressure washed, shampoo/sealed and dried with a drying aid.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Fortunately I still had the rear tunnel guard I bought when trying to find one that would fit a VW Golf, as the Skoda Fabia shares the same floor as the VW Polo, it fitted like a glove and so will protect the rear tunnel carpet from scuffs and dirt.

The same mat but on a Fabia III. These are a great idea but hardly ever see them on any other car

Have you used Meguiars d156 as a drying aid?

I’ve never heard of a rear tunnel guard before.

You did great work.

To be honest I’m not a Meguiars fan. The few products I’ve tried for have either been too smeary, too much silicone for a dash treatment, attracts dust, leaves marks, etc...

I use Gyeon Cure but have used Gtechniq C2v3 , tried CarPro Reload briefly.

I’ve used Quick Detailers a few times but finds full sealants better for drying and topping up the protection.

It seems to be a Skoda thing.

But many of the Skodas share the same floor plan as many VWs.

The rubber mats in the car are Skoda mats I got her when she bought the car.

Volvo has some but they don’t look so much fitted as the Skoda ones as just a bit of rubber run over the rear tunnel.

Volvo ones.
