This is happening again! So far I have a list of five,six, seven, eight, eleven, thirteen, fifteen   thirty-one people and 19 20 cars who are in! Read for more details. Updates!

The Plan:

We will be meeting in Brentwood, convoy over to Cool Springs C&C(same as last year), then convoy up to the Lane Motor Museum again. The displays have changed and more cars have been added to the basement. We will go back to the shop for a BBQ lunch as we have too many people for every restruaunt. Then we will be going on a couple hour drive with a stop at a distillery I think. Since we have a fair amount of people this year that are able to participate in consuming alcohol venturing to downtown Nashville for/after dinner, that is in the works as well. If anything changes we will let everyone know. I am still working on solidifying details

When? June 2nd. It is far enough away from the ToTD Meet but we can still go to the first of the month C&C.

I would love to go. Wanted to go last year and couldn’t. Hopefully after things settle down in the next couple months after my divorce is final I will have some money saved. I may even stay in that hotel by your fam’s shop again.

I’m also thinking about moving to Tennessee. If it does happen it will be later this year, but I want to move to Nashville or Knoxville or somewhere in that area. I have nothing really tying me here now and I am desperate for a change. I’ve lived in Mississippi my whole life and it’s time I start fresh somewhere else.

Thank you sir. I’ve always had Tennessee is the place I have wanted to go, I have just been kept here for reasons. I don’t have a reason not to now. I’ll definitely get up with you on it when the time comes.

As long as I have the money to go and enjoy it, I am in. I know last year some of us kicked around the idea of an Oppo meet for us southern folks and when the time came I had too much else going on. Now though, I need this.

If my house wasn’t already full with Opponauts coming in I’d offer you a spot. My wife thinks I’m weird for already becoming friends with 2 people off the internet and hanging out with them. It shouldn’t be too expensive of a day. Maybe$50-100 for meals,drinks if we go out, and Lane tickets. With a hotel maybe 200-400 max.

That’s cool. I don’t mind the hotel. I don’t think it was all that expensive and I can eat cheap so I think it shouldn’t be a problem.

I wouldn’t be able to commit until May, but this would be a very good East Coast Road Trip idea. I have two friends in the Nashville area that I have yet to visit.

Do we have a damn calendar for all this stuff? I swear there should be common car calendar that has filters for all the races, car shows, regional C&C, etc.

Kinda like a MotorSport.reg calendar, but in a nice, normal Outlook-style format.

A calendar would be super helpful lol. I just try to keep it simple in my calendar. I’m going to Import Alliance in late March, Nashville Oppo meet early June, and then big Oppo meet in August.

I grew up in Knoxville and currently live in Nashville. It’s a great place to be! If you have a college degree, my company is hiring pretty rapidly - if you need a job/extra reasoning to consider middle TN.

I’m planning on having some, uh, elective surgery this year. I have no idea when that will be, as when I made a consultation appointment in January, they said the earliest opening they have is the middle of March. So I’ll have a clearer picture in about a month.

I’m a pretty hearty booster for my city. We have issues, but on balance I think it’s a great place to live. And, from 26 years ago, it’s possible you wouldn’t even recognize it!

Well dang. I’ll have to miss it. I’m an Arbeter (umpire) for the Tennessee Association of Vintage Base Ball. We’ve got some games down this way that will prevent me from getting there on the 2nd.

Weird, I guess facebook might be a little different. I don’t use it because I don’t use facebook anymore and I don’t like the format. I’m surprised they care, it’s really just a bunch of people sharing random things.

I wouldn’t really care if my parents knew, I would prefer they don’t know just so I don’t have to listen to it. I’m almost 28, I’ll do what I damn please. When I was in Nashville I met ORLG’s family.

I did that drive last year coming from Florida. If you can free up a weekend it’s totally worth it.

I mentioned this outing to my wife and she was interested in coming, but not sure that she wanted to do all of the car things. Also not sure if she wants to do Nashville things without me. So, still unresolved about attending.

As of now the car things end around 1:00-ish and the rest is lunch/ driving /hanging out around the country around Nashville if that helps! We are heading downtown that night too. My wife could care less about cars most of the time but does enjoy the Lane as they are not your normal 4 wheeled cars that everyone drives.
