Someone really doesn’t want people parking in front of this house. It’s not even the guy who lives there, the Corolla belongs to him.

How the fuck did that happen? I genuinely don’t understand this type of crime.

Bring back the Hammurabi code. In which case the culprit will be “keyed” with a blade and then will have his right ear removed. They won’t do it again.

Well at first I thought it was some random angsty person, but now it seems to be deliberately scaring people away from parking there. But yeah, I especially don’t get it since whoever it is, they don’t live there.

Stay with me here:
Pulled some files today for a “leaking tank” site in North Carolina. Turned out it wasn’t a leaking tank, someone had actually poured gasoline or kerosene into the drinking water well for a trailer park.
I MEAN HOW HARD IS IT TO JUST NOT BE A JERK. Don’t key people’s cars, don’t knock people’s mirrors off, don’t poison a bunch of poor people. Ugh.

Holy shit, that’s insanely awful. How the hell does someone sleep at night after doing that.

I don’t understand aggressive drivers/people. I mean, I understand the outrage about some things, bad parking jobs, people cutting you off, people in unsafe cars or doing unsafe manouvers, or even taking the nice spot in front of your apartment, as it has happened to me when I’m too lazy to park my car inside. But the rage goes away and you’d have to be really childish to respond to it in such an aggressive manner the only common abuse I always respond to is people using the shoulder to overtake, otherwise I let it happen because it’s beneath me. The last time I drove aggressively here I was 17 and high on Nirvana songs: A mirror resulted a casualty of my driving. But I digress.
I feel mostly sad for this individual who goes around vandalizing other’s property, I wish the police could do something about it but for such a petty crime I think it’d be hard to get their attention.

Did you manage to repair or mitigate the damage on your wagon?

I haven’t had a chance to try yet, hopefully I will on the weekend

At least you can loosen the oil drain of whatever car parks there and doesnt get vandalized

While I like that idea if I could guarantee it was the person doing the damage, that would make me pretty much as bad as them

Easy: next person who parks there and doesn’t get their car fucked with is the culprit.

Maybe, but there have been several different cars parking there and not getting fucked with since my car was keyed.

Maybe they don’t like Gold’s Gym.

People can be petty jerks.
We used to have a 2nd car that was rarely used, so it sat in the same spot a lot. There was no shortage of street parking avaiable, so no one’s life was ruined by our parked car.
Neighbours (we assume it was the wealthy young family that had just moved in across the street) took exception to it and called it in as abandoned. Which isn’t so bad, but they did it on a Sunday, when we had actually used the car. We went out, and when we got back the same spot was free, so we parked it there again. An hour or two later, big nasty warning sticker from the city on our side window.
My wife was pissed. She wrote a letter saying “car x with plate zzzzz isn’t abandoned, if you have a problem with our parking come see me as at address y” and put a copy in every mailbox in the street. We never heard any more complaints. And we kept parking in front of the same house, just to be sure...
In our case, no damage, but it took a couple hours to get all the glue off the window. That sticker was fucking stuck!

As bad or better?
