A dealer near Greenville has lifted a Ridgeline.

I like it.
Also, can I just throw out how it seems like half the cars driving around at night with just the front running lights and no tail lights seem to be new Ridgelines/Pilots?

I hardly ever see these, so I cannot confirm, nor deny.

Anything not meant to carve corners (and some that are) always looks better with meaty AT tires. That being said, the 1-2 mpg drop with those tires and lift kind of take some of the advantage off of buying a ridgeline in the first place over say, a Tacoma or Colorado.

But not the feeling of Superiority that comes standard...

how much of a MPG drop do you get with AT tires and a lift kit on a Colorado or Taco??

There is a feeling of superiority of buying a ridgeline?

interesting in that the last 2 cars I saw with this going on were honda SUVs (pilot and CRV)

Irrelevant. They aren’t needed to have the same (actually much more) trail covering ability.

It comes with the H in my experience with Honda owners...

but you and me both know that they are needed to look the off road part.

Sure, but does this
Look less the part than this?
Don’t get me wrong, it’s an improvement on the ridgeline immensely, but it sorta makes the point of buying a Ridgeline less clear.

Seems to defeat the purpose. Also would negate one of the features that would make owning it nice for me: low load height.

I like them, I have a CRV. I just got a pickup so I don’t need it in my Honda, the CRV is good for what I use it for. My Dodge will haul whatever, I don’t need it very often. I just got a kayak so that can go on the CRV rack or in the pickup. But if I had to consolidate I would consider this, I drive my CRV to work in SF which has tight roads and parking, but everyone has SUVs so I need the height to see anything approaching lights. So much construction and bombed out streets as well, SF has been under construction for the last six years, never ends.

I consider it my duty to humanity whenever anyone compliments the Odyssey that it’s a POS and has turned me off of Honda forever (in a tactful way, of course)

Plz gib parts for Odyssey thanks

This is mostly a dig at my brother, because he bought a pilot that they couldn’t park, so beat the crap out of, and an odyssey that they, ugh, couldn’t park, so beat the crap out of, and now an accord hybrid that they’ll probably do the same thing, but he’s soooooo cool for buying hondas....

In fairness, the Odyssey is a Nimitz-class behemoth with oddly wide proportions and shit for sighlines (I could fit a small car inside the pillars).
I had never hit anything EVER in a car until this thing. Now all four corners have scuffs and we’ve been hit at least 3 times while parked (one left a note!)
Still mostly my wife’s doing, but I’m not without my share...

Our Crosstrek has a similar issue. All four doors have some variation of dent or scuff, all from parking lots, with no notes. Must all be Oppos with the crossover hate. Heh.

It’s because Honda is one of the dumbest manufacturers making cars today. If you set the lights to OFF (as most old people do, since they are scared AUTO will somehow kill their cars battery) the DRLs stay on only on the front. It’s better than no lights but the amount of people driving around at night like this are ridiculous.

Lift or no-lift. It’s still a minivan.

Seems pointless, without at least a straight rear axle.
