Went to install front spring and struts on GF’s Tundra with a 3" lift. Thought I had enough experience doing it on small cars that I could just get it done. Wrong. Ended up having to use cut off wheel to dismember the old strut bases to get them out. Then found the spark shower melted the damn rubber CV boot. Thankfully local NAPA had a cv axle shaft and the 39mm socket.

Done, now time for a beer.

BTW, missed the Ricky Bobby fest at Talladega. Did i miss anything?

Sorry, too late. All back together. Plenty of decent write ups already on the forums and the youtubes. And I don’t think the GF will let me do it again to record it for posterity.
