My first race was in Montreal, 1979, to see Gilles finish second to Alan Jones. Still the only F1 race I’ve been to.

I’ve also been to only one race, Long Beach in 1982, and saw Gilles finish on the podium. He was gone a month later, and I just lost interest in F1 at that point...
