Now I have working parking(running), brake, and turn signal lights. The only one that don’t work are the pop-up headlamps and the reverse lights. I’m positive it’s just the bulbs for the reverse lights. Tinkering with the headlamp mechanism isn’t gonna be fun...

You could always go full Roadkill and tape some LED flashlights to your hood?

Luckily if its like the 944 it will be one motor for the whole thing, and a simple bar.

My RX7 didn’t have reverse lights when I got it. After scratching my head for a while, I discovered the plug at the transmission was unplugged. Hooked it back up and they work great. The lesson: Always check the easiest stuff first, no matter how dumb it may seem.

I’m not saying in particular some specific connector - just to start with the easiest - such as “is the switch plugged in?” wherever it may be.

motor and relay are plugged in with cleaned connections, the interior switch should be good, but the the motor might be borked somehow from manual operations. If I can take it apart and rebuilt it that could solve some problems.

This is factual.

Motors for the reverse lights? :)
If you jump the relay does it go?
