You can get each for under $30k, which is less than the average price of a new car. I’d call that affordable, to the average person at least.

Higher-mileage and salvage-title ones are at least, the nicer ones I’ve seen are still holding steady in the 30-35k range though. That being said prices will probably drop even further in the next few years once Lotus brings the new Elise over .
