I had a silver Crown Vic police interceptor following me on 405. Dis you?

That is me. Congratulations, you spotted the double unicorn of a Deaf Guy Driving A Retired Police Interceptor.
Was this northbound or southbound?

What a crazy coincidence. This is the first time I’ve driven on 405 during business hours in.... Months at least. Just happened to be picking up a steal of a Craigslist deal in Bothell
The interceptor looks great! Definitely don’t see that color very often

A coincidence, indeed. I get off work at 3, so I was on 405 between 3:15 and 5, with a visit to Showcase Collision in between.
At a distance, she looks great. Up close, I cringe every time I think about all the scratches, dings and dents she’s got from police service. Fortunately, there are VERY few spots on the car where the paint got chipped straight down to the metal body panel — that means it’ll be a relatively simple affair restoring the paint.
Renting a booth and having the skills necessary to pull it off...that’s another bag of beans entirely.
What car were you in on 405? Post a pic.

I get the joke, but that was a picture taken looking at the rear view mirror.

I was behind you in Kirkland for a bit too!

Now THAT was a nice craigslist find! I think I may have seen the car — I don’t usually pay attention to the car makes around me, I just pay attention to the situation I’m in. Situational awareness as a deaf driver has to be literally 100/10.

Or...wait, I may have misunderstood: The craigslist find was not the car, right? I thought it was the car. :P

The car was mine, but I sold it to a neighbor who had been borrowing it for months already. And now I’m the one borrowing it! Strange...
So no, not the car! Someone was selling a bride bucket seat replica for $40 and I jumped on it. Will make a good temporary seat until my real Brides come in, and replicas normally go for $300-$400 so I couldn’t turn it down

Nice find, then. :D
