And I’ll defend it until I die. It took less than a season to find its mojo (something no other version of TG can say, not even the original). They need to get their Amazon show ASAP.

Just as I began to kind of like the hosts, they went and cancelled it. I was apprehensive at first, but damned if they didn’t start to grow on me.

It was good, and I miss it. Amazon, Netflix, they need a show somewhere.

TGA was awful. The only host I could tolerate was Tanner. Rutledge was weird and dumb for the sake of being weird and dumb, and “literally who” just destroyed car after car that I’d love to have for no real purpose, just because “we’re top gear and top gear ruins cars so we should ruin cars”. TGUK ruins cars as a cohesive part of the episode. TGA did it because it was expected. The writing was weak. It was an unpleasant show to watch and every episode made me angry. It’s not the same angry as Roadkill’s “what the fuck are you hacks doing don’t notch the fucking frame AAAAAAAA” and not the same unpleasant to watch as nu-TGUK with “literally who” as the obnoxious British host, though.
