I had to make sure my tires worked.
Marine rail ways are neat.
Everything is better: the turn in, steering feel, road feel, etc.

I was trying to figure out what the hell language that was on the sign. Why is there an 8 in a word? FOR8KM “FOUREIGHTKUM” what does that mean?? Then I looked again and realized it was just saying curvy roads for the next 8 kilometers and stopped being puzzled. Anyways, twisty roads plus a new tire are always so much fun. Especially if they are an upgrade and it becomes immediately apparent how different it is.

Not new tires, just the ones that sat for 6 months. I will get new tires this year. There was still lots sand in the corners so I could not push it as hard as I could.

I went for a drive today as well today.
My tires are still working... though there is no difference for me since I have Norman WR 4 season tires

Ahh yeah saw the other post, makes more sense. Still, that switch from snow tires back to the regular tires always feels great. I always got used to my Miata handling like shit with snow tires on. Although it was kind of fun having stupid low limits on dry pavement. But then I would put the summers on and just giggle to death around any and all turns just because I would forget how it felt. There would always be that freak late spring snow storm though that would just make me regret my decisions and just hibernate until it melts lol.

It’s nice feeling the road again, the shorter (& stiffer) sidewall is nicer in that aspect. Also the turn in is also way better. I was giggling the whole time.
