Brought to you by the 1980s and college life.

Starting off with this surprisingly well kept Citation:

Kinja'd!!!

[citation needed]

This modified Forester - looks okay-ish, sounds like crap, still has studded snows.

Kinja'd!!!

but why tho?

I can’t remember this one for the life of me, sorry Oppo - I think it might be a Caprice...

Kinja'd!!!

It’s a bigly 80s sedan from GM though, so there’s that

A Chrysler New Yorker Plymouth Acclaim, of all the things, with the eye-murdering cranberry interior, and just as cranberry with the exterior. It’s too early for it to be Thanksgiving already...

Kinja'd!!!

This bigly F150, which yours truly considered buying a F150 of this vintage with the base inline 6 and a stick shift... probably not one of the wisest thoughts.

Kinja'd!!!

A trusty rusty F100 pickup, and yes, those are stacks coming out of it:

Kinja'd!!!

And a Disco for our resident Land Rover fans.

Kinja'd!!!

Bonus points if you’ve made it here: an eggshell Prius on a flatbed, savagely mauled.

Kinja'd!!!

I couldn’t remember if it was a Disco or a Range Rover because I suck at these things.

Not just a Caprice, but a Caprice Classic Brougham, 1987-90.

I think the cranberry car is actually a late run Plymouth Acclaim, maybe 94-95. I know a certain someone here will know the answer.

That’s no New Yorker. That’s a Plymouth Acclaim. Standard-size K-car platform. You can tell by the egg crate grill.

This is the New Yorker:

Kinja'd!!!

And this is the Chrysler version of the pictured car:

Kinja'd!!!

Called a LeBaron.

You reminded me that I should really get my snow tires off. Then again we just had a blizzard a week ago. But it’s been over 40 for like 3 days so maybe winter is over?

Also that F100 lols awesome

That’s some good DOTS!

A girl I had a crush on in college drove an identical Caprice to that one.

I didn’t realize just how much my fellow college students enjoyed their 80s cubes-and-wedges-on-wheels.

I’ve been noticing a lot of 80's cars that haven’t really been seen on the roads in years, have started popping up here and there lately. My theory is the original elderly owners are dying off, and so their mint 80's/early 90's cars are finding their way back onto the road for the first time in years.
