!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , except by the time I’ll be ready for my next car this’ll be long gone. One owner, less than 100k miles, a 1-of-only-2,300 manuals, and it’s one of the very few cars that actually looks good in white.

Wow!! This car looks very well cared for, too.
It’s been years, but I remember driving one of these (auto of course), and really liking it a lot.

I’d take an auto V8 over a V6 manual.

A manual Lincoln still sounds more interesting despite annoying engine choice.

A V8 with exhaust definitely sounds more interesting.
Though I will admit I have no idea how the shifter/clutch feels, good or bad.
Dasupersprint - base trim is enough

Except it appears by the looks of the wheel they parallel parked by feel... And if they chose to photograph that wheel as an example, I can only imagine the condition of the rest. Aside from that though, looks CLEAN.

It appears that they took pictures of all 4, but they’re scattered randomly. The other 3 look pretty decent, but yeah that one is bad. Not a deal breaker since the rest is so nice.

LOL - tbh I spent my time poring over the interior pics, I’m half wondering if they re-skinned the front seats because I don’t know if it’s possible for them to look that good!

You may be right. A proper Svending took place though, that is for sure.

IF you don’t I would! I have been chomping at the bit to do a duratec RWD build. This does more than half the work for me!

I’m in no rush to get rid of my 528i. It’s probably the best car I’ll ever own so I want to get as much out of it as I possibly can before I move on.

I have one. People hate on them, but it’s a great car to drive. Just the right amount of modern, correct wheel drive, decent visibility, and it’s safe like a modern car...
Mine only has 32,700 miles or so, too. The fact the interiors on these are in such good shape after 20 years is to truly amazing part, considering they all have leather seats. They used surprisingly high quality materials.

Oh yeah, the S-Type without the hood ornament :p
(remember that the S-Type was also available with the manual)

I felt like that with my 128i. Unfortunately It needed more repairs than the book value of the car.

Those are the original seat surfaces.
