three evap codes, a misfire code, and a tire pressure sensor code?
where is the evap canister? did someone run over something and chunk it (and/or a wiring bundle?)

Has anything ever not broken on your van? Did they build it on a Monday or something?

There are so many things I’ve never mentioned glove box broken, cup holder broken, pocket mounted to the door to hold your stuff broken. The left turn signal works but the light on the dash doesn’t luckily it flashes right on the rear view mirror so you still know its flashing.. i could go on.

Honestly a real possibility but most likely it’s just a age / mileage thing. I’ve never owned the car that didn’t get an EVAP leak at some point.

this is why I chuckle when I hear someone (who has never been in a cheap European vehicle) claim how much better all European cars are.

My LS400 has 317,000 miles after 22 years and has never had that many codes combined. Definitely a FCA quality issue. Shocking.

I saw an ad for the ProMaster line the other day, billing it as “for the people everyone depends on”, but noticeably *not* mentioning any reliability studies with its other you-should-buy-this rankings and whatnot. I was laughing.

Here’s the thing, though... this morning I have to drive our old E150 to drop it off in another city, and there’s no contest. It’s cramped, slow, gets worse mileage than my ProMaster, and it’s got about half the cargo capacity. The ProMaster is a better van in every way except for the fact that FCA doesn’t know how to build them so that they don’t constantly break.

How do they compare to a Sprinter?

My boss’s van has the turn signal problem, except his thinks all the turn signals are dead and the DRLs. They all work.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed for mine, but I’m sure it’s just a matter of time. I only have 7500 on mine at the moment.

Similar. I think the Sprinter feels a tad more solid. The Ram feels like it has more power to me.
