Creole dry rub with a hint of garlic and cayenne, bake 22 minutes on both sides, then seared in a cast iron skillet with butter.
10/10 would reverse sear again.

I just heard your steak moo.
Put it back on the grill.

Did an entire tenderloin on the grill last summer with the reverse sear method.
It was awesome

If it’s not making noises, it’s overcooked.

I’m inspired. Tomorrow I’m going to try and reverse the way I get ready in the morning. I’m going to shower and then download. Wait. No I’ll have to go back to bed if I do that and then start the day all over again.

Don’t forget to dry yourself before you take a shower.

Over cooked steak is sad

Most Colombians would cringe at the thought of anything less than medium or medium well.

I’m surprised. I can eat medium, but not medium well. It’s ruined at that point to me.
Medium rare FTW

Order a steak in Colombia and it’s guaranteed to be either medium well or well done.
Different cultures.

Strip steak@ 55.5C (Subaru reference ftw!) for 2 hours, sear on induction grill set for 600F+ for 5 secs each side, searzall before serving.

Okay, that’s it. I can’t take it anymore. Overly rare steak is disgusting. STOP IT.

Rare is the perfect temp for most if not all steaks. If properly aged I would take it Pittsburgh black and blue rare.

Don’t you mean prime yourself up with a wet towel?
