Shined the old girl up last night, prior to this weekend’s biannual Ozark backroadtrip. Of course, it rained this morning...

The more time that passes the more I think that the E90 M3 might be the best looking sedan ever made.
On a side note, I will forever be confused as to why the E90 M3 got the headlights from the E92 but BMW never put them on the non-M3's. Whatever, it just makes the M3 stand out more.

You know, I hadn’t thought about that, but the E90 M3 is a freaking gorgeous sedan - - much more so than the non-M E90, and way better looking than the F80 (or F30).

I love the design... Always gets the look-back from me.
She’s 10 years old with 115k miles - lots of rock chips and other wear from a life well-lived, but still running very strong. Hoping to keep her in the stable for the long haul.

Thanks - we’ll be tearing around NW Arkansas all day tomorrow. I put a map in my reply to him.

I have the same one, 6MT NA motor 81K on my daily driver! love it more and more everyday. Fully capable, even more with upgrade brake and suspension bits.

There’s a thunderstorm in fore-cast this evening.
There’s Houston Cars and Coffee at 8 tomorrow.
I need to (hand)wash my SS if I decide to go in the show section.
My 7 series is filthy as fuck.
And if the kids decide to go along, I’ll have to wash the Navigator L. At this point in time it seems like the Navigator L will be visiting a drive through car wash.. lol.

This is a Motorcycle Site but they generally have a good list of driving roads. Looks like AR 23 and HWY 123 should be on your list.

We’ve been going here twice a year for a decade, so we know most the of the roads very well. 123 is definitely deserving of the hype! I really like 103-215 (close to I-40) as well.

It’s filthy dirty. Bugs all over. 110 miles at 80 mph in rural Texas.
It would need a proper hand wash.
Yes, I’ll wake up at 6 and handwash (I am up at 4:30 every day, anyways)

Wow! 10 years. I guess you are an expert now. Assume you’ve been to Mt. Magazine, Eureka Springs, Branson, Walmartville?

We usually spend the nights in Eureka Spring and eat our evening meals there (staying in a cabin near Beaver Lake this time). I’ve actually somehow not been up Mt. Magazine yet... it’s just kind of out of the way with respect to all the other roads we’re interested in. We actually considered staying there this trip. Need to get down there - maybe I’ll take the wife & kiddos sometime. I’ve been to Branson plenty, but with family on other trips. We try to avoid Bentonville (traffic).
CJ’s Burger Boy in Russellville and the Cliff House south of Jasper are a couple of our normal lunch spots.

Our main day of driving is tomorrow - should be dry, just a little chilly.
There’s really only one stretch that I turn the traction control off for. Has corners that you look over your shoulder to see where you’re going!
