Damn, son, what are you doing to your ears that you can blow up a speaker?

Kinja'd!!!

I’m a fan of Bose, even though lots of audio snobs poo poo them. I hear Klipsch are good for the money. If you’re really into bass, Beats might be good for you, although I think they are way overpriced.

Audio Technica are great, great mid range sound that let’s you actually hear the music. They’re like beats, except half the price and actually good.

You might want to take it easy on the volume, tennitis sucks.

thanks :)

i like deep rumbly bass... and especially after a few i like it loud... my headsets not so much

and yeah beats is out of my budget (also.. i think they’re pretty crap for the money)

(loud deep rumbly bass soothes my headaches.... and breaks my wallet)

and yeah.. i probably should take it easy... tho.... i dont think im playing anything all that loud..... course that said... i spend my days surrounded by hydraulic presses, cnc cutters welders and grinders...

(but i think its mostly the ammount of bass i like that kills them..... soothes me headaches)

Here is a recommendation that no one else will give you. I have a pair of Photive bluetooth headphones that are really good for $40. Also, their customer service is fantastic if you ever have a problem. Best value I’ve ever tried. They’re not the top of anything but they give good balanced sound.

If you go to Photive.com, I’m sure you can contact them to see how they can distribute to your area.

Sony MDR-V6 studio headphones. Closed back to keep noise out, around ear design for all-day comfort, superbly balanced sound. And they’re well within your budget.

What did you blow? I have Senns and B&Ws. Senns are great on bass, the best is the B&W P7 with an amp, but SHIT, the Senns have never ben that bad, or blown.....

What setup are you running to blow them?

If you want bluetooth headphones and use an Android device, make sure you look at aptx: https://www.cnet.com/news/can-aptx-give-you-better-sound-over-bluetooth/

If both the device and the headphones support it, you’ll get apparently much cleaner sound. Someone posted their good experience with aptx here on oppo not too long ago, try searching for it.

Oh, and if you wanna go down the rabbit hole, check out the reviews on The Verge. They cover everything from “best under $50" to “this is what $1000 earbuds should sound like”.

Sony is never going to be bad, and is usually a good value.
