TBH, everyone who knows Virginia drives the speed limit outside of Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William counties. Jail sucks worse than driving in this state.

Yeah and that’s not the worst of it, I am super careful in the western part of VA and don’t enter without a full tank of gas and no plans on stopping before I hit the state line. That’s dueling banjo country.

I drove from fairfax county to Charlottesville a few weeks back and was getting passed on 29 all day. Everyone was flying down it. Of course, 30 minutes from my destination, I decide to pick up the pace and just follow along with traffic, and I got a ticket lol.

Oh man, that stinks, hopefully wasn’t too much of a hit. I always hop off 29 down there since I always go to the Barbecue Exchange in Gordonsville anytime I’m within an hour of Charlottesville.

68 in a 45 :/ I know everyone says this but it really was a trap. I crested a hill where the speed limit immediately drops to 45 from 60 at the bottom of it, and the cop got me right as I hit it. I was extremely peeved when it happened, but I was respectful and the cop wrote it up as speeding and not reckless.

I forgot to pay it off online early enough, and I was required to drive back down there for court, which was another major annoyance, but managed to end up only having to pay about $200.

The food around Charlottesville is amazing. If I was a UVA student, I think I would be obese lol.

Agree on the food, being over an hour away is not far enough.
