I just noticed these tiny pointy flaps behind the rear wheels on this 2019 Ram today. I’m assuming they are to help eek out another 0.2 MPG. Neat! Also, is this the first Ram ever with amber rear turn signals?!

Excluding the South-American-spec last gen, this is the first one w/ ambers!
BTW, are they separate from the brake light on the new one? I’ve heard they made some sort of odd arrangement w/ that...

No they are the same light. So the light that is on the the photo I posted above is the running light. Here is a photo I took a second earlier - these are the brake lights on in addition to the running light:
Those same lights blink amber when th signal is on. So they are red for brakes and amber for the turn signal but it is the same LED cluster. The little vertical thing in hr middle is the reverse lamp.
It seems like a lot of these new trucks are trying odd things with the tail lamps. I was taken aback a few years ago the first time I saw the current Titan on the road. That big red spot at the bottom looks like where the brake lamps should be but it’s actually in the clear part at the top and lights up red. The bottom is just running lamps.

I get what you’re saying, but I can’t remember anyone ever saying the new F150 looked like a Ram.

Got it. Looks like they went to the trouble of putting amber in, but still managed to screw it up lol
I was weirded out by the Titan’s tails as well! I really don’t get how a dedicated brake light in a clear housing made sense, especially when the turn signal is combined w/ the running light.
Here’s the worst part – this is how base-model Titans have it:
