Wandering the streets this morning, I came across a freshly minted and custom made unicorn.
This appears to now be a 105 series Land Cruiser cab chassis rather than the wagon it was born as. Conversion appears to be nicely done too...and then covered in all sorts of iron work. The cheap looking aluminium tray was a bit of a disappointment.
Bonus original special AgQuip ‘91 edition of the Subaru Brumby.

Is that a 105? It’s so chopped up it’s hard to tell

Have to admit that for a moment I thought it was a Patrol. That said it’s definitely not a 200...

Question is would you pay the general asking price? There’s another one in town that’s for sale, similar condition but three years older and it’s a five grand ask.

If you do the AUD -> USD conversion ($5000 AUD is about $4000 USD), only if it was a clean one.
In the US most clean ones are USD$3000-4000.

To be fair, the cheap ones are usually rusted through or have some sort of mechanical malfunction that’s far too expensive to be a quick “buy and fix” operation for just a simple shadetree mechanic.

These must be hideously expensive. Assuming it’s based on the full fat 9 seater cruiser - you’re paying a lot of money for a lot of car then cutting most of it away for a cheap bed.
Just get a 70 series
