A D150. Not sure what the line between “nice patina” and “horrific rust” is but this truck is approaching the latter. I still like it though. I feel a need to collect D series pickups (and puppies) to take care of them.

That truck is ugly. Not necessarily a bad thing, though ugly nonetheless.

noooooo. It maybe less than attractive, but it has a good soul! My truck was in similar condition when I got it.

Do blue truck boxes rust slower? Oppo investigates

Assuming you can consider any “patina” nice, I’d say the line is if holes/bubbling exist or not. If no holes, patina, if holes, horrific rust.

Considering it looks to have no holes, only surface rust, this would be patina. If it had rust holes..........ah shit, even then it’s just patina on a truck like this.
