If there is one car I would not expect to have a thumpin’ sound system it would be an MG Midget, and it really doesn’t need one.

That is looking more like the Midget’s twin, an Austin Healey Sprite. The grill in a Midget is different and the Sprite came with those hubcaps. Parts are very interchangeable, so it may be a Midget with some Healey parts. It is definitely a Spridget!
