Other driver ran a red light. She swiped the front of my car. Mine is a 2013 Accord Sport 6MT 56k miles. NADA clean trade is $10.5. I have Progressive insurance.
[Edit]: My two young sons and I are all ok. My neck and back are a little sore but I’ll survive.
Obvious damage:
Front core damage
Core support bent
All front lights
Grill
Both fenders
Hood
Radiator
Coolant lines
Fans
Front tires
I suspect the car has frame damage because of the pretty nasty core damage. Also the right front fender is now way out of alignment and overlaps the door seam. I also suspect that the car will require new front suspension components.

Time to star shopping for a replacement, that is going to be a seriously expensive estimate.

Yeah. It’s totaled. But if the frame isn’t bent badly you could still have it repaired.

Please make sure you go to the doctor and get checked out now. You may feel okay now but that’s the adrenaline and you could very well wake up the next day in a ton of pain.
I think it’s going to be a very close call if there is frame damage. If there isn’t then I think it won’t be totaled because everything can just be replaced.

I think it is reparable. Though it may be reparable, it will be expensive. I’ve been interning at a body shop for about 4 weeks, and I’ve learned that it isn’t hard to total a car these days. I worked on a 2017 Nissan Altima with front end damage similar to yours, and the shop just barely kept a $1000 margin between reparable and totaled.

Airbags? If deployed I would say it’s totaled. If not deployed I would put it right on the line between totaled and non totaled.

Totalled for sure - if you’ve bent the core support enough to push out the other fender, it’s done.

First off, I glad your all okay.
Second, get yourself checked out.
Third, I’d say that car is a write-off.
Fourth, there is no way when I visit the U.S. I’ll be driving. It seems any laws are taken as suggestions by snowflakes.

Most likely totaled.
If your neck and back are sore today, you’re likely gonna be having a bad time tomorrow. When I was in an accident I thought I was fine, just a bit of soreness. That turned into 6 months of headaches, neck, and back pain.

If the airbags had deployed it would for sure be totalled.

The impact to my Outback was 7-8k and the quarter panels didn’t even need to be replaced.

I’d say its borderline. Even if it gets totaled, some shop will buy it at auction and rebuild it. But, definitely argue for a write off, if you can.

Damn, that was a good-looking car.
I’d bet 16 cents that it’s totaled.

Thanks. Conservative drop really set the car off. It has BC coilovers.

OK. that improves your chances; deployed airbags would guarantee it’s totaled.

Major deflection of panels not directly impacted? Probably structural damage/chassis deflection. It’s probably a write-off. There’s still a chance it’s less-sever than it looks, but it doesn’t take much of an impact to total a car these days.

Visual damage says no total but with what you describe then it will be close

as it’ll cost more than $1000, my guess is yes.
