So I got the last box of Banana Nut Cheerios on the shelf at Walmart today which means that their “Limited Time” is probably over. I could go back to Honey Nut, but i figured I would first consult the great Oppo hive mind. My daughter has Celiac, so must be gluten free. Whatcha got?

Cinnamon toast crunch. I have no clue if that has gluten, but it’s my final answer regardless

Allow me to suggest apple cinnamon Cheerios or lucky charms.

Wheaties
Jk. I honestly don’t know

It does and I miss it.

I’ve never been able to go thru more than a box of apple cinnamon without getting sick of it but it’s good for a change of pace. I probably will be buying a lot of Lucky Charms. I was eating it pretty much all the time last year but my wife didn’t want the kids having it all the time. Which is probably smart. Being an adult can be disappointing sometimes.

Cheerios are good for celiac. Chex are also a good celiac choice as well.

Plain cheerios drizzle real honey on it before you pour the milk.
Chocolate and cinnamon Chex are also very good.

We get the rice crispys and the Coco pebles & frosted flakes off brands at Aldi’s. The Coco pebles are goods to add to vanilla ice cream. Also the corn or rice chex
Also if you have Aldi’s near you, thgey have a good amount in their G Free line.

I stopped buying Cinnamon Toast Crunch. IDK if they changed the recipe, but it used to be sort of puffy, and now its flat and hard like golden grahams.

Oh man, you are so right of the honey before milk. There’s something special about the way the honey lays on the cereal. Where as it’s like the honey gets coats by milk of you add it after. Been years but I want this right now.

They had some chocolate peanut butter Cheerios at Safeway that were a hit at my house. Also these are great: https://www.target.com/p/barbara-s-puffins-peanut-butter-breakfast-cereal-12oz/-/A-13722128?ref=tgt_adv_XS000000&AFID=google_pla_df&CPNG=PLA_Grocery+Essentials+Shopping&adgroup=SC_Grocery&LID=700000001170770pgs&network=g&device=m&location=9021425&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIiu3C7IKs2gIVULbACh0-rwFsEAQYAiABEgIRdPD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

We go through a decent amount of Chex too. Unfortunately I don’t really like any of them. I should probably get over that :-/

This is a good idea and I can’t believe I haven’t tried it. My daughter likes the chocolate and cinnamon Chex but I don’t really care for hem much.

The chocolate peanut butter Cheerios are like the one flavor that aren’t gluten free for some reason. Similar with peanut butter puffins - no wheat ingredients but the factory that’s makes them processes wheat so they aren’t safe. The multigrain ones are but I’ve always found those a little plain.

Oh that stinks.

You’ve worried me. I haven’t had it in years, and now I’m afraid it won’t be as I recall.

I’m a toast with p’butter or granola bar person... cereal is for like 9 PM or later at night.

You’ve heard good ideas, I’ll just mention that GF granola is an option, although harder to find.

Actually not to hard to find here. We put it on vanilla yogurt and it is awesome. The reason I’ve been avoiding it as a regular thing is that it is kind of expensive, but that’s a good reminder to get it back into the mix. Thanks!

No, I agree. About once per year my wife (Celiac) decides that she wants cereal and gets something Chex. She has one bowl, then I’m tasked with finishing it or throwing it out. I’m not a fan of Chex, no matter what flavor.

Snickers bars are probably less sugar
