We rode the lift with unicorn guy yesterday. He has skied all season with this unicorn thing attached to his head while wearing a rainbow onesie.

Around me, the guys that go all out for their outfits usually are just okay.

I was caught really off guard last time I went by this high school kid wearing just a Johnny Manziel football jersey (no jacket or anything, it was 50 degrees) who was insanely good.

I’m pretty alright. Probably top 5% of people riding at Snow Summit last time I was down there (not exactly hard to do, considering how terrible most people are there, I’m not really being cocky), and I usually wore just a Hawaiian shirt with a pair of snow pants with all the vents open (because it’s crazy hot up there most of the time, the only reason they have snow is that it sometimes drops below freezing at night and when it does the snow makers go crazy).

That’s some committent to wear all season. Back when I lived somewhere where I could ski I loved to wear dumb stuff in April when it warmed up. One year me and a buddy got suits at Goodwill and wore those plus our goggles and helmets. Got a lot of laughs from the lift. Pro tip - if you are going to ski in a suit get a tie pin or tie bar. Tie flapping in the wind behind you is not fun.

It is pretty surreal to be wearing practically nothing (except sunscreen) while riding...

On the other hand, the heat also means the snow turns into slush by mid day, which isn’t much fun.
