I spent today tinkering with one of my newer cities.
I level some ground off the shore and put an airport on it (lower left)
Then built a highway to connect the only bits of solid land on the map that i can use. I want to connect two points without traffic spilling all over the place so i made a giant overwater roundabout. I tested it. it works.
Bonus: i posted this already in the comments, but it is funny for us Jalops and Oppos: even in a city simulation, BMW owners park like jackasses. (don’t flame me, i used to be one)

That’s pretty cool. I used to play it all the time, but my computer went to shit so I have nothing...
What mods would you recommend?

I can get that list to you later. It will be long. Are you asking for mods or assets?

Assets probably, the ones I can get in steamworkshop

There are both mods and assets in the workshop.

Oh, then both would be great!
I have the very basics like the ones to give you more options for roads and such

Oh hon i have 1540 assets. I don’t think kinja would let me list it.
The basics mods are network extensions, ploppable RICO, 25 squares, prop and tree anarchy, fine road tool (that includes road anarchy), move it, find it, advanced vehicle options, theme manager, more beautification, relight, ultimate eye candy and a couple of others.

Is that the one that flips up? Anyways I would love to see CS allow for double decker roads and bridges.

I encourage you to browse the workshop to find stuff you like. I will help you with mods but assets is based on individual taste. For example, I am trying to create different main cities in states within a fictional Germanic empire (*not the one with Nazis). So my themes are much more European and less modern because I want my city to look like it started centuries ago and continually updated and improved. Assets are about aesthetics, mods are gameplay improvement. I have been typing this in a drinking establishment while I am with friends. I will finish my mod list later.

I think it’s stationary. It’s in Uruguay iirc.
