This !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! just popped up for sale! There are 110,518 miles on the car and it’s listed at $22,250. That’s a 330 hp S54 straight-up sex from the E46 M3 plus CSL goodies such as its legendary steering rack in an ACTUAL BMW sportscar. This thing is tighter than a prom night budget. That’s what Ive heard anyways, word for word.

Kinja'd!!!

I’m sure this car will be talked about a lot once the Zupra releases start up and I don’t see a reason for these to get much cheaper. Seems like an $18k car even at its lowest. Plus, the pricing has already suffered the introduction of the Porsche Cayman, the Recession, and the days when the Acura NSX was $25,000.

Talk about a rough time time to be a first owner...but it’s a great time to be the eighth!

Kinja'd!!!

Also, the owner of this car is obviously cooler than a morning tile. Checkout that parking spot in the first photo and the clarity of character it takes to make that choice in an empty backlot.

Yep. Anything like this (worth keeping) has no more than two owners by this point.

This thing is getting passed around like a...insert NSFW analogy here.

I’d bet it’s incorrect. 7 title status changes != 7 owners.

Just guessing as it looks pretty clean and none of us see evidence of it being worn. Or I don’t anyway.

These are amazing, amazing. Amazingggg.

Like a glorious E46 M3 with a stiffer body and no subframe issues. The Z4 coupe was single best design to come out of the Bangle era. It is the Bangle era. It’s chunky and small; with lines that start from nowhere and end where they shouldn’t, but they work. It’s kinda elegant and kinda ugly and just weird enough to be interesting every time you see again.

Inside is fresh E46-generation simplicity with E90-generation durability. Take care of the leather and the interior won’t budge for another 20 years.

Look at those freaking gauges. Cowls for days. It’s like driving an R1200RT. No other BMW had these.

I love them dearly. If they came with 4 seats I would own one. And now after writing this I’m even reconsidering that condition.

I love the looks, but as far as driving experience... I’d spend that $22k on a mint ap1 S2k over this any day of the week

One of my favourite cars ever.

Better Bangle design than the E46?

Although it is the better car this will never compare to the Z3M coupes to me.

But also those gauges always gave me a rental car Mustang from the early 2000s vibe. I don’t know why, it’s completely going against BMW’s gauge designs from other cars and I don’t think I like it.

Dealers show up on those title searches sometimes, so I’d assume that’s what happened here. Traded in by owner, sent to auction by dealer 1, bought at auction by used dealer 2, sold to new owner - that’s 4 listed owners to get to the second owner.

This looks too nice to have been through 8 owners in 110k miles. They’re too uncommon to have changed hands that many times - you don’t just “wind up” with one of these because it was on the lot.
