"Full of the sound of the Gran Fury, signifying nothing." (granfury)

Below freezing this morning and talk of snow and ice overnight. I’m on vacation next week and want to get outdoors for a change, so I hope winter will finally start fading away. I need green things right now, not necessarily cash and weed, but nice lawns and leaves on trees. Post pictures of your favorite green cars (or whatever) to get me in the mood for spring. I’ll start with a couple of my favorites:

If I ever decide to buy another 4th gen Prelude it will be this color.

Sun is out here, but still freaking cold. Have an E34 M5 Touring.

I loooove Porsches and I absolutely loath Singers for some reason.

See, I’m the opposite. Besides a 944 turbo, I couldn’t care less about any Porsches.
Singer being the exception. The level of detail put into their products is just mind-blowing and I could happily live in their workshop watching them plan/build cars 24/7

My dream car right there. I love my E34 but it has two major problems: only 168 HP (182 with the chip, but it’s hard to tell) and it’s not a wagon. This car fixes both problems beautifully.

Yeah, that’s a dream car for me, too - especially in that color.
I also have a 168 HP BMW - fun car but won’t win any drag races.

What about 928's I’ve always thought they were superior in looks and concept than the 944.
HFV has no HFV. But somehow has 2 motorcycles

168 HP in a 3? Not too bad (by ‘80s standards, or course). 168 HP in a 5? Well, at least I look cool, cooler than that teenager that just blew me away in his mom’s old Sienna... At least I have a 5MT to keep in somewhat interesting.

I’m not a fan of the headlights, or rear. I’m firmly team 944 (although I wish they had more engine options)

Mine is a 3, but it’s an ‘00 convertible, so probably doesn’t weigh much less than your 5.
I think I would hate it if it had an automatic, tbh.

You’re probably right. At least with an I6 there is that incredible smoothness and willingness to rev, something we probably both have to do.
I test drove the ‘89 525i with an automatic and it was painful. Imagine spending $38K for a premium vehicle that made an old Rabbit Diesel seem sprightly. No thanks.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a Miata in this color, let alone this combo, but the want is very strong. Sexy.

Yup. Considering that my car is close to 4k RPM at 80 mph, my engine gets plenty of work at higher revs

I love the M Edition Miatas. Some were better than others. Here’s the runner up IMHO:
There are actually two (!) of them just down the street from me. I’m surprised that they lasted this long here in the Midwest.
And these two colors were my favorites on the Corrado SLC I almost bought. I couldn’t decide between the two, but once the automatic seat belt grabbed me by the neck and smashed my head into the dash I decided to keep my old BMW instead.

I was once driving along the freeway with the windows down, sunroof open and stereo blasting. I looked down at the tach and saw I was turning over 5,000 RPM. Oops. Couldn’t feel it. Upshifted two gears and continued along...
