They may be the last complete set in existence. This makes Nibbles a happy Nibbles
And now a very paranoid Nibbles because what if someone decides they want them
Gonna have to get locks
Too bad powdercoated aluminum doesn’t conduct or I’d electrify the fuckers

Ok I can’t link for whatever reason but the max coat wheel guard is what I use and it works

Get a clay bar just for your wheels too.

Damn they’re good looking wheels. Keep that shit safe.
Speedline in the 90s was amazing. 964/5 turbo wheels, rally wheels, Ferrari cup etc.
I seem to remember they did Ruf wheels way back too.

Nah I won’t try and steal ‘em. I don’t have a RWD car that would fit them...

Your post on fb Oppo reminded me that my tires are actually capable, so I was taking corners way faster than I should in the rain today. They are definitely good in the rain. Between the Coopers and the AWD, the thing is glued to the road.

Do you have the same meats? If yes, for how many miles and how are they holding up?
I know people gon give me shit because they’re not Z rated butt fuck ‘em. I don’t go fast, I daily drive

Yup, 205/40/17 on my 06 Legacy wagon. Not many, I’ve had them since.....I’m not sure when. Maybe 5 or 6 months ago. Probably only 5-7k kms. They still feel like new, since they basically are. They’re great in the dry and wet, though they hydroplane easier than I was hoping for. Weird mix of great wet traction except for standing water. Don’t attempt them in the snow, even with my AWD I was understeering around corners at 5km/h. Slush is fine, but not actual snow. They’re definitely a great dry/wet tire for the money though

Oh so you’re the guy what what said that on the FB. Sorry I don’t correlate people there to people here much
Living in Colorado for so long I understand and know the need for dedicated winter tread. My plan is to get some steelies and Blizzaks just in case, though I don’t know how necessary that will be in the Seattle area. I dunno yet.

Haha yes, that’s me. I attempt to, but I think I only retain a few.
It snows so little in Vancouver that I thought I’d get away with all-seasons, but after this winter, I’m gonna be switching to my winters next year even if it only snows for a few days, just in case. It was a really uncomfortable couple drives to and from work, I felt like one of those people. I dunno how much the climate is different in Seattle, so YMMV

This is awesome, glad you went for these instead of the common C4 ZR1s.

It’s got C6 Z06 wannabes on right now
I loathe them

Yeah, not a big fan of those either. Much prefer C5 Z wheels, bias schmias aside.
