This is one that I picked up from my dad. Whenever I would drive a beater of a car, I would make an effort to park it near the most expensive car in the parking lot. Especially if they made a point to park across 3 spaces at the far end of the lot. I don’t know why.

Asshole car habit:
If I see someone hogging the left lane, I overtake them and then start slowing down with my right blinker on until they move to the normal lane, then I accelerate and leave the passing lane, infront of them.

I was told something similar; always park by a really expensive car, or one you can tell by looking the owner really cares about.
If you see an immaculate 20 year old Corolla they’re going to be more careful opening the doors than most people.

If I see someone in a BMW I know they’re probably going to be an asshat

I’ll give you my guiltiest pleasure while driving: If I come up behind someone who’s sitting at a green light, on their phone and not paying attention, I love to just go around them and give them a little passive aggressive beep-beep with the horn as I go by. Some people go nuts.

Hehe, mine’s kind of like that.
There’s a 4-lane (2 in each direction) roadway in area with no center turn lane. Of course, everybody just hogs the left lane, regardless of how slow the car in front of them is moving. So I just stay in the right lane and pass them by.
But there’s a little game that I like to play. As I drive along in that right lane, I’ll look for an opening to merge left. I put on my signal, move over, and signal again to make a left turn. Let’s see if the car behind me has any reason to be hogging up the passing lane.
The thing is, I don’t actually need to turn left. But I’m willing to add a slight detour to my route just to mess with these people. Because this is a main roadway, it often takes somewhere between 10-30 seconds for a break in oncoming traffic. Every once in a while, someone will bail out of the left lane to pass by in the empty right lane while I’m patiently waiting to make my turn. But most are apparently content to sit there and wait with me. (In case you’re wondering, yes my state is one of those that mandates using the right lane unless passing or preparing to turn.)

Mexico doesn’t
really
have laws regarding traffic so it’s carte blanche to these assholes, even if highway signs literally say “yield to faster traffic”
But mandating to stay out of it is stupid too, in most highways the right lane isn’t as nicely kept as the fast lane because of all the trucks destroying it. I once found myself in an empty stretch of the A-52 and the right lane was so bumpy at the speed limit that I chose to hog the left line while also keeping a tab on my mirrors to make sure no one was behind me, if I even saw a speck hundreds of meters away from me I’d move over back to the right lane, it only happened once though...

You are certainly an asshat

Totally approve of this behavior if the person has parked like an asshat, but if someone with a nice car is parked well within the lines, just further out to try to avoid a door ding, yeah, that makes you the asshole...

Seems like a good way to induce some road rage.

Potentially yes. But if I drive a bmw I could remove all doubt. 99.9 percent of the time I see a bmw around here they are driving poorly.
