We had a pretty good storm roll through yesterday; a bunch of freezing rain followed by strong winds took down some trees and power lines and was generally quite annoying. Naturally then, today I took off my snow tires and decided winter is now over. Mother Nature, take note.
It’s nice to have decent steering feel again.

Did the same thing today, if enough of us put on our summers maybe nature will take goddamn hint for once.

I notice you have a 2015 or so WRX. Looks awesome. I’ve been eyeing up reviews and see complaints about rev hang; Would you say it has rev hang?

It does. It’s mildly annoying but plenty manageable (I get out of first gear as early as possible) and it certainly doesn’t sour me on the car.

Blame me too, I got mine out of storage & cleaned up before then on. I thought about changing them.

I took my snows off about four nor’easters ago. It’s been an interesting couple months

Good feedback, thanks. I’m gonna find one to drive either way but test drives can be deceiving.

All modern cars have some amount of rev hang as snapping the throttle shut is horrible for emissions. With a Subaru you should be able to fix it easily enough with an Accessport.

Driving it the best way to see for yourself. Beware, the test drive sold me on the car - I couldn’t stop thinking about having it so went back a week later and bought one. No regrets. :)

The weather can be a bit of nuisance at times but Canada is generally a pretty excellent place to live. I’m no longer a mod but thanks nonetheless.

I didn’t know it was emissions related. Good to know.
