But the fire hydrant survived for once! Amusingly the Cobalt headlight laying on the ground was still working fine with the hazards blinking.
Less amusing was the credit card bill which I received today, in which I found out that someone had stolen my cc number, because I certainly didn’t buy $2600 worth of TVs in Minnesota a week ago. So, that card is canceled now and I get to enjoy resetting all of my auto-drafting bills to a new card later this week. The irony is that this is the credit card that has automatically locked down in the past for a $20 haircut a couple miles from my house, and a $15 lunch with my grandma at a small town diner. Ugh, fuck thieves.

Credit cards... I’m glad I have such a small limit on mine ($500.) Most any expensive goods that you could buy will overdraft it, and make the fraud alert companies scream bloody murder and nuke your phone.’
The bad thing is that when mine was skimmed, two purchases managed to clear before the card got shut down, so I had to contest those purchases...
