Seems like this place is pretty filled with interesting stuff.

Just getting off the plane, saw that, followed by a modified S-10, Camaro, Challenger. Also seen quite a few F31 wagons, but can’t seem to run away from these:

Toyota Automotive museum. They had some engine cutaways on display which were “functional”, but no 2JZ.

I think I found Hon... potato edition.

Long roof CLA. They really like wagons here.

In general I’m surprised by the amount of American and European cars here, given how Nagoya is Japanese Detroit, Toyota’s headquarters.

Something I haven’t seen in a long time.

... and that’s a wrap. Here’s a CLA with tons of downforce after I got back to Hong Kong. I still got pics from the Toyota museum, I’ll save it for another time.

Oh yes.

There is the RS & RX, those use the HR15DE. The RX is the lower trim (I think). There is also the 16GT & 16GT Four, those use the MR16DDT. They are the highest trim Juke (aside from the Nismo) you can buy there. Going by the wheels it’s a RS or RX. Those are the factory hub caps the 16" wheels get. The 16GT (Four) get the same 17" wheels as mine.

2 days ago a Juke Nismo was racing my dad on the highway without my dad noticing until the end, when he smoked the fuck out of it in a —wait for it— 2013 Odyssey. At the exit light the guy waved to us, lowered the window and said “good race” would which my dad responded, “oh, we were racing?” which visibly pissed off the Juker. Twas pretty funny.

Unless you want to see a lot of Jukes and Wagon Rs.... I saw a few S660s but missed those when talking to people.

Ive been to Japan myself (Only Osaka and Tokyo), I dont know if its the location or time-period, but I saw a hell of a lot more than just Jukes and Wagon R’s....

Like I was saying... I was surprised myself too. Nagoya is Toyota HQ, yet there were way more Euro there. Way more than Osaka last time.
