I’m kind of upset. I’m pretty sure my coworker stole $45 from me. I saw the customer pull a $100 bill out of her wallet, and she gave him a tip when I wasn’t looking. Then he gave me a five and told me that she gave him ten, but I’m pretty sure she gave him that hundred. Like... come on, man. I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt, but still.

I suppose it’s also worth noting, if you need to tip multiple people, please make sure they all see all of the money, or say the amount out loud, or something. Some people are greedy little shits.

Oh man. I once had a coworker who dropped a blank check out of his pocket. Lo and behold, it was from MY checkbook. I figure he must have taken it earlier that day, probably when he ran out to the work truck “to fetch the first aid kit”. Sneaky fucker even had the carbon copy folded up with it.

Here in Mexico I think they get taxed like capital gains, but the capital gains tax is the same as the income tax so in reality they get taxed less.

This is why I’m always paranoid about doing things like that. Gave $20 to a bell hop over the summer and told him to split it with the doorman, and I really doubt that he did, but that’s not the kind of thing you can ask about afterward.
